License terms (EULA)
These end-user license terms govern the use of the CueForge software. By installing or using CueForge, you agree to these terms.
Last updated: July 2026
1. Licensor
The licensor is Stimm und Truppi GbR, Metzer Straße 30, 50677 Köln, Germany.
2. Grant of license
With a valid license, you receive a simple, non-exclusive, non-transferable right, limited to the license term, to install and use CueForge on a Mac as intended. Each purchased license entitles use according to the number of seats selected.
License verification is performed online on a regular basis. For studio machines without an internet connection, offline activation is available; an offline activation is bound to exactly one device and occupies one license until it expires.
3. Restrictions
You may not transfer, rent, lend or make the software or licenses available to third parties beyond the licensed seats. You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software except to the extent permitted by mandatory law, nor circumvent, manipulate or disable the license and activation checks.
4. Term and expiry
Licenses are time-limited and do not renew automatically. If CueForge cannot confirm a valid license, the project enters a restricted state in which saving remains possible but editing and playback functions are blocked until license verification succeeds.
5. Updates
We may provide updates to the software. For the purposes of these terms, they are considered part of the software unless delivered with separate terms.
6. Local AI processing
The AI features (transcription and translation) run entirely locally on your Mac. No cloud service is required to use them; audio and text content is not transmitted to us or to third parties.
7. Ownership and rights
The software is licensed, not sold. All rights in the software, including copyrights and other intellectual property rights, remain with the licensor or its licensors.
8. Disclaimer of warranty
To the extent permitted by law, the software is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that the software is fit for a particular purpose or runs uninterrupted and error-free. Mandatory statutory rights, in particular those of consumers, remain unaffected.
9. Limitation of liability
The licensor's liability is governed by the provisions of our terms and conditions. We are only liable for data loss to the extent that you have ensured appropriate and regular data backups.
10. Termination
The right of use ends automatically upon expiry of the license or in the event of a material breach of these terms. Upon termination, you are no longer entitled to use the software.
